Hello my pretties,
When are people going to be back in wycombe? I'm going back and forth between HW and Brighton for varying amounts of time over the summer - may be having a gathering at some point... therefore, letting me know when you are all around would be rather helpful.
Anywho, apart from that, i have been mostly chilling since the end of exams.. climbing and drinking lots of pimms & cooking delicious BBQ's much to the displeasure of my irate neighbours (due to smoke inhalation. oh well!) They deserve it, they have annoying children.
Hope to see many of you in the foreseeable future!
ps. Yay for England!!! We rule!

god i hate these things. My 'cocktail' is missing an ingredient. Perhaps is a reflection on my sanity after constant revision?
Or maybe its just shite.
ps. person who comes up with the best ingredient will be awarded a mystery prize prize.

Yah, so much for cutting off all lines of communication for a month. Yeh, really worked well i think.
btw. alix, your random haiku generator sucks. this is what it told me:
is the coolest it
has flashing pink lights crumbling
brick ceilings brilliant
i tried again in the hope of something better:
me and wants to waste
their time greetings all that is
all of a suitcase
and this, which is blatently libelous:
contest i have an
std just because i slept with
both of their boyfriends
I deny it completely.
Anywho, apart from being distracted by my lovely laptop, my housemate has persuaded me to go on the climbing club's infamous whisky walk. (drink lots of whisky, walk on the sussex downs. Dig up whisky bottle that was left there last year, read amusing drunken scribblings. Write some more, re-bury bottle & hopefully stagger back home before the sun comes up.)
whats wrong with that? Just the slight issue of having an exam the day after. Who knows, maybe the vestiges of alcohol in my system will improve my performance. ha.
ps. good luck to y'all. Hope you all do stupendously well, so can all have a stress free summer without panicking about results. :D Current Mood: bored

|Sunday, February 26th, 2006|
well, seems everyone is updating all of a sudden with random memories! So, here is my contribution!, but please note, my memory is appalling, so the following probably never happened, or have been substantially elaborated:
Kinder surprise -most amusing bus/herr dunn related jape EVER. (which reminds me Fliss, we need to send him another one... soon.) :D
Jenny's invention of 'Emily was a morbid child..' a charming poem that haunts me to this day. cheers.
The writing of 'scoobie snacks', the ridiculously named .. actually just ridiculous sitcom, written by Fliss and myself, with 'help' from Rebecca Nichols.
Anything involving Fliss helping me cook. Garlic bread especially sticks out in my mind.
Holly's Mrs Lambert/ Alice Cooper promotional tour posters. Pure genuis, unfortunately prevented by Miss Sheardown (spoilsport extraordinaire).
BRAIN & glam rock related shenanigans.
Newquay -i won't specify any particular events for fear of offending a certain individual who was involved in an equine- related incident.
Dundee with Jenny, Gemma and Gemma .. and asexual bisexual make-up wearing Graham. Drunken Irish talking about the Pope. yeeeeeees.
I think i shall leave it at that -rather than risk boring everyone into a stupor. Apologies if i already have :P
And now onto recent updates: yesterday, my organic jumper wearing lunatic neighbours took it upon themselves to attach bird houses to every tree in the park which backs onto my house. They spent the whole of saturday making these stupid boxes. I know because i went outside every so often to watch & laugh at them. I mean, at a time when the whole world is panicking about the threat of avian flu, my stupid neighbours decide to attract these winged disease ridden creatures to my house? WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?*
*NB/ that was purely rhetorical. just incase you were wondering. Current Mood: listless

Just taking this opportunity to thank Alix for the icon i thieved. Tis lovely! Which leads me onto my second point.. with all these award ceremonys going on... I thought I'd come up with a few of my own! ( Smool AwardsCollapse )
ps. Someone help me! Which of these sounds better? Employment Law? Or Healthcare Law and Ethics. I can't decide, and so have resorted to you guys determining my future career. Oh God.

Hope you're all having a marvy time at uni! Was great seeing some of you at my tea partay (and to all those who didn't make it... you suck!) But was fab, (thanks in part to Laz, for some brilliant quotes :P, and to Steph and Alix pour le cake making :D).
Not much has been happening at Uni thus far.. I have been to a number of pirate parties (all of my friends are so original *snort*). Oh, and one of my housemates discovered the other day that our fridge was turned off. It seems that when we moved in, all of us 'forgot' to turn it on. Which means that for a term and 1/2, we haven't had refridgerated food. I suppose it explains the random food poisoning outbreaks.. and the milk going off after a day or so...*
*I suppose I'm now going to get spammed with people calling me an utter retard, and whilst completely deserving of this label, I am now going to distract you with links to pictures of pretty gay boys hugging, in an attempt to prevent the most scathing attacks (which i presume will come from Alix, et Fliss), from happening!
A cunning ploy, I think you'll agree!http://www.jediyuth.com/gallery/galleries/drama/brokebacktr01.jpg

Well, i haven't been up to much -due to deadline panic (which i think you can all relate to). But, firstly, I have a few questions: ( Alix (Queen Of Nerds)Collapse )( FlissCollapse )
And on to news of my life (thrilling stuff, i'm sure you'll all agree)..
Its almost Christmas!! yay!! Spent last night watching drinking mulled wine *and, to my eternal shame, watching Dirty Dancing*. I think it is almost time to visit the pound store for some kitschy decorations, so we can lower the level of our neighbourhood.. they're gonna love us! WooT!
Have also got a Law Ball to go to, so I shall make sure I get completely wasted, so all my lecturers will think i am a drunken fool. yay! Will be just like last year...( Anywho, I found this amusing...Collapse )
See you all in a couple of weeks!

Greetings all (that is all 4* of you who still come on livejournal),
Everyone seems to be updating all of a sudden, so i thought i would too!! (plus, the article i'm meant to be reading 'the limited modesty of subsidiarity' is just too thrilling for words) hence the randomness that will follow......
Sooooo, I recently went on a law pub crawl, which ended up in a bar with a pole dancing competition. Sadly i wasn't quite inebriated enough to attempt it myself -but was rather amsuing to watch fellow lawyers do it! Apart from when the ugly ones started stripping. I still have images in my head. eugh.
Apart from that, i have been climbing (wOOt) the plastic walls -not the real scary ones. Which is good as it means i have technically been exercising, but in reality have just been eating chocolate and lazing around engaging in conversation. But, despite my lethargy, i have rather amazingly built up some muscles! yay! i can now officially open bottles of water by myself. Have also met cute italian guy... but i don't know if he is mit g/f or not... I also don't know his name, but i shall call him Mas for convienience (I think Fliss shall understand :-P)
Finally, in sweden, they have banned goldfish bowls.
ps. If any of you are following t' leadership contest, i have this to say: I can't be bothered to switch my lil' pic to david cameron. But i have done so 'in my mind'. Thank you and goodnight. :-D
*pps. haha hannah, i win :-D :-D Current Mood: awake

- cookie monster:
Ah yes, once a raving biscuit eating lunatic, but now a shadow of its former self after being made to eat vegetables, because, apparently, cookies aren't healthy. Thanks Seasame Street.
- glam rock:
A musical movement, started by Jack Fairy.. and his cat. yeeeeees.
n. the doctrine that the pursuit of pleasure is the most important thing in life.
Hmm, feeling slightly guilty that i didn't put something like 'world peace' down instead... darn it!

I am jelly. what am I?

just thought I'd post my holiday dates, so any parties could happen on days in which i happen to be in the country :-D (if at all possible). Am away from t' 19th to the 28th of August.
On a completely different subject, if you haven't seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory -then go see it! Is worth it just for Johnny Depp's michael jackson wonka, and spinal tap oompa loompas.
also, i will be planning a partay soon, so everyone -keep checking your e-mails!

Exams are almost over -WooTeNs!! Only one left tomorrow -but its not a real exam (is only multiple choice) and so will probably not revise (will prob. regret that tomorrow -but hey ho). And then home on Wednesday! Can't believe how much holiday i'm going to have :-D :-D
In other news, a cow escaped onto campus. (which, with startling originality, the security man called 'Daisy'). He also managed to cleverly scare it into running into my direction, thankfully i wasn't wearing red, and therefore, it didn't make any attempt to trample me.
Also, went out to EventII (guy with girlfriend came on to me -why?). Also, met up with Claire (as her sister's thinkin of coming to ma uni) which was cool!
Watched the final dr who, no more Chris Eccleston :-( In order to mourn his passing, i have posted an image of him for all to worship: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/gallery/teaser/800/04.jpg
ps. Has anyone recorded any of the earlier episodes?
|Wednesday, June 1st, 2005|
Anyone seen 'revenge of the sith' yet? If nicht, then read this: http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=episode3
-a most balanced review by Mr Maddox. NB/ it gives away the entire 'story' so don't say I didn't warn ya.
In other news:
-we had to get new keys for our house (@ uni) cos someone broke into my flatmates room & nicked his laptop. Unfortunately, they changed the locks when i was away -with the consequence that i was stuck outside in the rain until someone deigned to let me in about an hr later. meh.
-i found an alcoholic drink which tastes like calpol -Mmmmm! delicious.
-There is a barbershop quartet convention in brighton this weekend! any of you chaps up for it? yeeeeah, i thought not.
Umm, better go and revise -or i'll probably end up failing,

Sorry i haven't updated in a while! (for those of you who didn't notice -um, you suck). T'was due to me being a muppet + misplacing my student/ library/ discount card. Anyway, hererin follows a short update of all t' japery i have been getting up to:
Ma birthday party! WOOT! went to 'donatellos' crazee italian restaurant, frequented by jordan + monsieur andre & decorated with grinning pictures of Tony Bliar. mmmm, delightful. Then went to t' 'funky buddah lounge', which is the coolest -it has flashing pink lights & crumbling brick ceilings -brilliant! Spent ENTIRE evening persuading special chris and irish chris that girls could be hunky (just to confuse them), and making them both grope other guys arses. am soooo mature. really.
apart from that, have spent far too much time on t' play station (tekken, worms etc.) and BBQ-ing in t' luvely sunshine. Being near the coast rocks!
Hope you guys are all ok, and not panicking too much about imminent exams. cos i am. *turns into gibbering wreck*

|Election 2005 -It Is Time.
So, MORI puts the Conservatives 5 points ahead. The other polls put Labour 2 or 3 points ahead of the Conservatives (with the Lib Dems trailing at 20/21).
What does everyone think the outcome will be?
Hung Parliament? (in which Charles K will chose who becomes PM and on what terms).
Being an optimist (and having great faith in the campaign chief, Lynton Crosby, as well as Howard & members of the shadow Cabinet) i predict a Conservative victory.
If i'm right -do i get a prize? Current Mood: geeky
